About Us

The Kiwanis Club of Plover, Wisconsin, is a snapshot of its community with members from all walks of life and at every step of the career ladder. We are unified in our belief that children from around the world as well as our community benefit from the efforts of our club that consists of caring and involved volunteers.

Our club raises thousands of dollars per year in fund-raising efforts which allows us to support and focus on the needs of children in safety, child care, early development, nutrition, infant health, parenting skills, youth sports and recreation. This support links our club to the Kiwanis program, "Young Children: Priority One" and truly leaves a lasting impression on future generations.

The Plover Kiwanis Club also plays a special role in the development of future leaders by sponsoring Kiwanis youth organizations. We are proud to support the Builders Club at Ben Franklin Jr. High School and Key Club at Stevens Point Area Senior High School.

Whether it has been financial contributions, donations of time or simply "rolled up sleeves" hard work, members of the Plover Kiwanis Club have helped many individuals and organizations to success.

Here is a partial listing of groups that Plover Kiwanis has supported:

  • Community Parks
  • Childrens Miracle Network
  • Holiday Baskets
  • Parenting the First Years Newsletter
  • Achievement Center
  • Salvation Army
  • Big Brothers/Big Sisters
  • YMCA
  • Circle K Club - UW Stevens Point

Board Meetings are always at noon the first Wednesday of the Month at the "The Cottage" in Plover

If you are interested in being more involved in our community and learning what meaningful opportunities are available through Kiwanis, we would love to have you be a guest at one of our Wednesday meetings over lunch hour (noon).

There is no obligation in accepting an invitation to be our guest. We would simply like the opportunity to get to know you, and have you know more about us. Hopefully, we can work together to build our community and help meet its many needs.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
